Sibling "Sweet"ness

Oh these babies, how do I love them... let me show the ways... :)

Nothing better than Christmas PJ's in August right?

Last week, we met a friend at Miller's Grocery (it's a quaint small town diner that is delicious!). Armed with only my phone camera (and thanks to Picnik.com and its editing genius), I had to sieze the moment outside. :)

"Cheese"! xo!

Here's a story for you. This is where we do 'time out' for Evan and Cora. Mostly Evan at this point but Cora Grace is wearing her own space in T.O. Anyway, what is happening here, and in most cases is... EVERY time in the last week that Evan is sent to time out, CG goes over and plops down next to him! lol. I will try to get a video of this. :) Michael took and sent this picture to me on Saturday. He said, when Evan got put in t.o. CG went over to him, bent down and gave him a kiss. swoon swoon swoon swoon!

I could NOT help buying them matching pj's. 1. Evan loves Thomas 2. cg looks AMAZING in blue/turquise type blues to be spacific 3. they were $3.00 on clearance at walmart... WINNING! :)

Two Sundays ago I made cupcakes for my SS class. I made a box frosting (it was wierd and marshmallowy - opps) so of course the babies got the beaters, just like a good parent would right?! ;)

It is next to impossible to keep anything on Cora's head. I have never put these hats on either child but it was real hot and sunny this day and I thought I'd try. You see how this worked out for our wagon walk.

I distracted her by letting her wrap her chubby fingers around mommies phone, instead of pulling her hat off. ;) I'm sneaky.

Obviously, my studly son has no problems with head gear. ;) I love that he's wanting to wear hats again. :)

:)

Oh my gosh. Here's Cora Grace doing YOGA's 'downward dog' to entertain Evan during his sentence of two and a half minutes in Time Out. She's so thoughtful.
Please be as happy as me that Evan is totally smiling at her through her legs. :D

Now WE are all smiling at her through her legs. :) xoxoxoxoxo!

Sleep update. Teeth adventures.

FYI. Due to recent attacks from allergy's and pure exhaustion from starting my new job + babies starting day care, Saturday night I actually got into bed at 930p to play words with friends and then free cell and WAS ASLEEP BY 10pm! I was so impressed. I couldn't even keep my eyes open and had to give in. Even then, I still didn't feel well enough to go to church and missed :(. It's ok, cause Cora Grace and I got to have some sick mommy and teething daughter time that was fantastic. :)
this is how she woke up from her nap. 'twisted' in her p.j.'s

then play time

last, waiting for daddy and evan to come back from church.

In other sleeping news... I've been slipping back into 130a bedtimes and want to stop. I'm afraid it's an uphill battle for me. It's making me unhealthy and more susceptible to the allergies (besides the fact I eat horribly which doesn't help the matter). So wish me luck on that one.
Random other news. Today I had my first root canal ever with Dr. Mark Connolly of Three Rivers Family Dentistry. Let me tell you I was beeeeeeeeeeeeeyond NOT looking forward to this an was thankful for prayers and the blessing Michael gave me this morning before I left. I'm sure I don't need to explain why going to the dentist is nerve racking as most everyone has the same concerns. With that said, Mark, who is a friend as well, was AWESOME. He (and the staff) were excellent to me and for someone like myself who can be... irreverent at times, I really appreciated their calm understanding of how I felt, even though I'm sure I babbled on and on at times through my nerves. Now, I will not say it was completely painless cause yes it is sore now the numbing shots have worn off but the actual procedure was good. I dare say, 'relaxing'? Wow, I can't believe I just said that. Also for the first time ever, I agreed to have 'laughing gas'. That was a strange feeling but it did what it was supposed to, relax me. I don't know if I would use it again though because there were 2 times I started feeling a little nauseous, the second time, I didn't know if I would make it but they reacted quickly and I recovered quickly. Hallelujah! I am no fan of barfing, let me tell you. :) So, it's not the end, I have a little more work to finish with Mark as well as an oral surgeon but I am happy to say, I finally have a dentist here I trust and I am grateful for that (I've avoided the dentist for almost 9 years now!). Thank you Dr. Connolly and TRFD! :) (yes a plug and YES you should go. There are tv's on the ceiling for goodness sakes. I was thinking some of my friends would be happy being there all day if they just played Twilight movies while they cleaned her teeth lol).

"Home" again. smile.

Old/New boss :)

Some of the new faces to welcome you and make your appointments :).

Same ol' place. Ahhhh. :)
I'm back at Tangerine! OH HOW I LOVE IT! It is crazy how much I have missed my AVEDA products and especially the color line for my poor clients who put up with a Matrix inferior color for 3 years. I got back and saw old faces but mostly new faces. I'm impressed with my new co-workers skill and Mike and I love my boss Jim. He's owned Tangerine with 4 others since it's inception but recently bought out two of the owners who were ready to move on. That meant, I was ready to come back! Whoo hoo! :) Now I need to rebuild my book to be as busy as I once was, even though I only still work 2 - 3 days a week, I know I can do it and am excited.

Spinning

I got introduced to a great site called "Pintrest" and looked under the photography section to find a picture WAY better than these but I was inspired none the less. The photographer had put the camera around her neck, set the timer (plus I set mine on multi shots to try to get at least ONE) and spun with her subject. Her back ground was 'moving' but I was unable to re-create this as I'm still learning my camera. Still, the pictures were adorable. Evan's was my favorite, his look was so beautiful and a face I get the pleasure of seeing on a daily basis. I just love these babies. I hope you all try this and have better luck. The kids and I were getting too dizzy! I had to stop. I had fun though.

Monchichi and other adventures

Various videos taken of all the fun we've had over the last month and a half. :)

Happy Blogging :)

After getting home late from cleaning the shop last night, I was definately tired. When I finally sat down to check emails and such, I was in a daze. About 10minutes in, I realized something wonderful was different! THIS:

Thank you Cat's Pajama's for fixing the computer and thanks to my GENIUS nudge that he should try to use the screen off my broken lap top, it was FREE!! whoo hoo! we love free stuff. :) lol. Everything seems to be coming together nicely. (knock on wood)
